1. Who we are

Pallet Quote is provided by (ABN ). This policy explains what happens to information when you use it.

2. What stays on your device

Pallet Quote stores the following in your browser's storage, on the device you are using:

• your timber list, prices, labour, markup and GST settings
• your saved presets
• your business details and logo
• your saved quotes, including any customer names and references you type in
• display choices, such as dark mode and which sections are folded

None of this is sent to us or to anyone else. We can't see it, and we can't restore it if it is lost.

If you sign in

Signing in is optional. If you do, we collect your email address so we can send you a sign-in link and recognise your account. We don't ask for or store a password.

While you are signed in, the information listed above (other than display choices) is copied to your account so it is backed up and kept in step across the devices you sign in on. This includes any customer names and references on your saved quotes.

Account information is stored with Supabase, our database provider, in . It is protected so that each account can only read and change its own information. We access it only when needed to run and fix the service, or when the law requires it. We don't sell it or use it for advertising.

You can remove everything stored in your account at any time using "Delete my online data" on the account screen. To have your sign-in removed as well, email us at the address below.

3. What we don't do

• We don't ask you to create an account.
• We don't require an account to use Pallet Quote.
• We don't use cookies to track you.
• We don't use analytics or advertising services.
• We don't sell or share personal information.

4. Website hosting

The Pallet Quote website is hosted on GitHub Pages, a service run by GitHub, Inc. When your browser loads the site, GitHub receives technical information such as your IP address and keeps it in its logs for security purposes. We don't have access to those logs. GitHub's handling of that information is covered by its own privacy statement.

5. Working offline

So that Pallet Quote keeps working without an internet connection, your browser saves a copy of the app's own files on your device. This copy contains the app, not your information.

6. PDFs and backup files

Quote PDFs and backup files are created on your device. A backup file contains your prices, presets, business details and saved quotes. Where you save these files and who you send them to is up to you.

7. Your customers' information

If you enter a customer's name or reference on a quote, that information is stored on your device and appears on the PDFs you create. You decide what to enter, and you are responsible for handling your customers' information in line with the privacy laws that apply to your business.

8. Removing your information

You can delete individual quotes and presets inside Pallet Quote. To remove everything from a device, clear the site's data in your browser settings. Because the information is only on your device, there is nothing for us to delete.If you have signed in, also use "Delete my online data" on the account screen to remove what is stored in your account.

9. If you contact us

If you email us, we will use your email address and what you send us to reply and to deal with your question. We keep that correspondence only as long as we need it.

10. Changes to this policy

If Pallet Quote changes in a way that affects your information, for example if we add accounts or online storage, we will update this policy before the change takes effect. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
